I’d marked this as a business visit, but it was actually a few hours with family for a wake. They put out a lovely spread and the food was good. Those who stayed at the hotel said the accommodation was very reasonably priced. The view was nice, and the hotel is on the beach with a golf course as well.

The room was spacious and clean, with a great bathroom, and the beach is only a five-minute walk away. It’s about twenty minutes on foot to the main streets. Service was great, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Wheelchair access was easy, and we were allowed to park at the front by the disabled access. I’d definitely stay again.

There’s ample free parking, and the location works well for both the beach and town centre. Our sea-view room was pleasant, spacious, and uncluttered, with an excellent view.

The food was great, and the rooms were really good too. It was my first stay here, and I’d happily recommend the hotel to anyone.

I’m in bed at 11:20 on Saturday 13th December, with a live band playing at full volume. When I asked downstairs what time it would finish, they said midnight and offered to move me to a quieter room. My things are already unpacked, though. Why wasn’t I put in that room when I checked in? Guests should at least be warned at check-in, or told on the website before booking. I’m really unhappy about it. It might be worth asking about this before you book.
