Reposting because my first review was removed 🤔. I picked the room because the listing and confirmation both said it had a kitchen, and the hotel confirmed that when I messaged too. There was no kitchen, just a fridge in the hallway. I have six-month-old twins, so I had to sterilise their bottles in mugs of boiling water. I couldn't use the sinks because the plugs wouldn't hold water in the basins. Our room was farthest from the entrance, up lots of stairs and through very narrow hallways; the only other entrance was a fire escape. The floor looked like it had never been hoovered, and the rug was filthy and full of hair. Some of the laminate was lifting, making it really difficult to keep our two crawling babies safe on the floor. One evening, while we were watching TV, a wall light fell off and landed on the floor, with nobody near it. Thankful no child was under it. The one good thing about the room and hotel was the location, a short distance from lots of attractions and places to eat.

The room was filthy and really dusty, and the floors looked like they hadn't been swept in weeks. The TV was really small, the duvet was very thin, and the curtains didn't fit the windows and were all mismatched. The furniture was outdated, there was no toilet roll when we arrived, and the light fitting was falling to bits. I'd never waste my money here again.

There was nobody at reception, so we were left to deal with the noise from other guests ourselves. It didn’t feel safe, and there was no one to report anything to. The noise was awful, almost like being in a nightclub. Our room was filthy too, with a dirty toilet and bed and a sticky floor. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The bedding was the only thing that seemed clean. There was dirt, crumbs and stains on the walls and floor, along with dust and cobwebs. I couldn’t bring myself to shower because of the grease marks in there. I’d have found somewhere else, but there was nowhere available.

There were only three parking spaces, despite parking being advertised, and that’s not enough. The breakfast was disappointing too, with cold tomatoes, a poor sausage and a table that hadn’t been cleared. The room was an okay size, but needed more cleaning, the paintwork looked amateurish and the kettle was minging. I wouldn’t stay again.
