There was food left in the corridor from the night before, spread across the floor. I reported it, but it stayed there while guests walked it into the carpet. The soundproofing is awful too, and some guests had no consideration for anyone else: a couple kept the TV on and shouted over it through the night. The pillows were rubbish. When I finally got up at 3 a.m., I put the TV on full blast and banged around in the bathroom for 45 minutes to get my own back. On arrival, seeing six smokers right by the entrance was unpleasant. I really can't recommend staying here.

Sakshi from housekeeping was so polite and respectful, and greeted me with a smile. Her kind, professional manner made me feel welcome, and it was clear she cared about guests' comfort and was willing to help. I sincerely appreciate her.

The complimentary breakfast made it easy to get going, whether we were heading to London, Windsor, or staying around Slough. The hotel is only steps from Slough Station, so it's very handy for getting around. After a busy day, the fresh, modern room was a comfortable place to unwind, and the welcome at check-in was friendly. Holiday Inn Express Slough has that simple, cosy feel that made the trip smoother.

The staff were really cooperative, and the hotel itself was good. Getting into central London from this location isn't ideal, though. The rooms are comfortable if you're on your own, but sharing one with colleagues was uncomfortable.

Gagan from housekeeping helped me out with room service when I was in room 315, and she was very helpful. The staff here are so cooperative. I was really happy with my stay, everything in my room was good, and they made my holiday a great one. Thank you 😊😊
