A handy choice if you’re staying in the area. It’s right by the train station on Datchet green, with pleasant lounge spaces downstairs. Parking is free and fairly generous, though spaces are limited. Reception staff were especially kind and helpful.

My room was small but fine for one night, and it was clean. The staff I met were pleasant and clearly working hard. The building is old and really needs refurbishing. The bar and food service weren’t running while upgrades were underway. There are lots of pubs and restaurants nearby, and it’s a useful base for sightseeing.

The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, the wifi worked great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It had a real home-away-from-home feel. This historic hotel sits in a beautiful little town opposite an old church, which gives the area so much character. Heathrow is only a short hop away, and places like Windsor Castle are close by too. I’d happily recommend staying here, and I’m grateful to the staff for everything.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel must have been grand in its day, but it seems to still be feeling the effects of the covid hangover, which is a shame. Being right beside the train line into Windsor makes it a great base for exploring the area. Give it a try if you’re nearby.

The hotel was clean, but very dated. My room was cold despite having two portable heaters, and it took the shower five minutes to warm up.
