I had booked a room at UNO Hotel in Slough for the night of the 5th, but the room I was given was very dirty and nothing like the one I'd reserved. I booked a room with two beds; this one had just one king-size bed. When I arrived, no one was at reception. After I called several times, a man who had been sleeping came out, handed us the key and sent us to room 106. Nobody answered when I later called reception about the room, and there was still no one at the desk. I filmed it: the room was filthy and the door wouldn't lock from the inside. I raised the problem in the morning and said the room didn't match the online photos. The person at reception said the pictures were only for display and the actual rooms were different. I showed him my video and asked for a refund. He kept apologizing and saying he didn't know, then told me he was the manager when I asked to speak to one. Afterwards I looked at Google reviews and saw that many other guests said the same thing, that the hotel uses photoshopped pictures online and gives people completely different, dirty rooms in reality. These people are scamming their customers.

The only good thing was the price. My room was poor quality, the TV didn't work, there was no light I could switch on from bed, and I wasn't sure the sheets and pillow were clean. Those are basics I'd expect even in a cheap hotel. My car had also been broken into.

The carpets were filthy, and the water pressure was almost nonexistent. The rooms look nothing like the website pictures. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend booking at this dump. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

The shower was warm and the bed was comfortable, but the carpets looked like a Jackson Pollock painting. I'd call the place 2 star at most. They also charge £12 for overnight car park use, and I couldn't see that mentioned anywhere when booking.

We had a really good 5-night stay, and my family enjoyed it. We used a family room with 1 double and 2 single beds for five of us, including 2 small children. The staff were amazingly helpful and went above and beyond. There's no food at the hotel itself, but an amazing restaurant next door does breakfast, brunch or lunch, and a small service tesco is within walking distance. The location is excellent, right by a few major bus routes, so getting to central London or Legoland was ridiculously easy.
