Village Hotel Solihull

The rooms are modern and cosy, with a really comfortable bed and a lovely shower. There’s loads of useful equipment, including an iron, kettle and plenty of hangers, so you get good value here. Bar and breakfast staff were welcoming and friendly, and the reception team were helpful too, especially after an initial misunderstanding with my booking. Great hotel, and the staff clearly know what they’re doing.

While staying at the hotel for work, I came down to the pub for a meal and a drink. The food was fantastic, and Laney and Tom were especially good, serving us with a smile all evening and giving outstanding customer service. Thanks for a great night. I’d love to come back.

The gym is easily the best I’ve used at a UK hotel. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming too. Big Brad behind the bar deserves a special mention for excellent service and being great at a bit of small talk. Good hotel, and I’d stay here again.

I’ve stayed here on and off for work over several years, and the whole place has a real buzz. The facilities are fantastic. The bar team work so hard and genuinely go the extra mile to keep things running. Brad, Laney, Shannon and Tom, great work. Sarah Jow, one of the general managers, and all her staff deserve a mention too. Village hotels are lucky to have that team.
