The young lads who served us were great. We enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast beef lunch with plenty of vegetables and potatoes, plus wonderful gravy. Sitting beside the fire made it nice and cosy. Would highly recommend.

The Ship has an amazing setting, a comfortable room at a very reasonable price, and a bar with a great atmosphere. I was there for three days and the staff looked after me really well, always helpful and friendly. The cooked breakfast was lovely too. If I'm in the area again, this would be my first place to try to book.

My wife and I visited at a quiet time and ate at a table in the pub bar, which has kept its old-world charm. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We both ordered the Monkfish Thai Green Curry, and it was exceptional, clearly made fresh with quality ingredients. Highly recommended!

Had lunch there today, Sunday. The pork was really good, with Yorkshire pudding and roasties, and there were five different vegetables. Excellent, would recommend.
