Number Five

Becky made us feel at home from the beginning, and we’ll definitely stay again. The accommodation was spotless and homely, with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of room to cook. We slept well, and the bed was just right for my bad back, neither too hard nor too soft. In the lovely weather we enjoyed the big garden, where there was room to play football with my grandson. The large patio had a table and chairs for meals, plus a comfy sofa in the shade.

Becky was a perfect host, always ready to help. The place made a great base for Somerset and the surrounding area, with Somerton town close by and Glastonbury Tor nearby for a visit. We were lucky to spend a few peaceful, comfortable nights there over the summer holidays. The rooms were airy, the beds comfortable, the linen crisp, and everything was clean and tidy. Such a delightful find. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back!

I was disappointed we never got to stay at Number 5. A few days after we paid the deposit, my mother died, and Becky immediately returned it and was very sympathetic. Before booking, she'd also been extremely helpful when I asked to look around and check the accommodation was suitable. It's compact, but immaculately clean and nicely decorated.
