We booked all four rooms at heasley house for our wedding weekend, and it made the occasion feel really special. The hosts were the icing on the cake, the food was amazing, the beds were so comfortable, and every detail had been thought through. We kept borrowing spare room keys, sorry Jamie. We can't praise the place enough. Thanks for making the weekend so memorable in your wonderful space. Hope to see you again soon. Luke & Emily

Melly and Jamie made us feel like part of their extended family while giving us a relaxed, luxurious stay. Gary and I were there for seven days. Breakfast was included and we tucked into it every morning; we also stayed in for supper four nights. The food was delicious, with a two or three course menu and an extensive wine list. Every plate and cup of tea was a pleasure, and Melly's sourdough with rich butter deserves a special mention. The design is thoughtful, the location charming, and the beds, high thread count linen and fluffy towels were all lovely. We enjoyed our time in Devon and are grateful we found such a wonderful business. We'll be back. I can't recommend Heasley House boutique hotel and restaurant enough if you're after an uncomplicated, relaxing, decadent holiday as one of Jamie and Melly's guests.

We had a great three night honeymoon here. The spacious rooms are tastefully done, and the huge king size beds made for a really comfortable stay. Breakfast comes with the room and was excellent. I can confirm the sourdough bread other reviews mention is lovely, and we had a really nice dinner there one evening too. Then there's shuffleboard. If you haven't tried it, you'll soon get hooked. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We spent two nights at Heasley House in August for our wedding anniversary, and Jamie gave us such a warm welcome. We had room 3, which was spacious and beautifully styled, with a very comfortable bed, a wonderful view and a lovely new bathroom with a walk in shower. The house was spotless, with all the new covid procedures in place, so it felt safe and well managed. Dinner was delicious in the stylish dining room, though you can eat outside too. Afterwards, we relaxed on the sitting room sofas or in the bar and games room. The peaceful surroundings and homely, easygoing atmosphere made it a lovely place to unwind. We had a great experience and will definitely return soon.

Jamie and Melly were so welcoming and helpful, pointing us towards good beaches, restaurants and villages. The house is wonderfully comfortable and made a great base for exploring North Devon. We loved the shuffleboard table, which kept us up late more than once. It exceeded our expectations in just about every way, and we'll be back.
