Rick knew the area inside out and had useful advice on where to visit, what to skip, and good places to eat. He even cleared the ice from my car one morning. The location was ideal for getting to Salisbury and the main roads to nearby sights, and I still have plenty left to explore after my five nights in the first week of January. The en-suite room was comfortable, especially the large bath and plenty of hot water after cold days outdoors. Breakfast suited me perfectly, with lots of fruit, cereal, toast, croissants, and unusually good decaf coffee. Rick was such a friendly, thoughtful host that I’d gladly return to Grayling House and recommend it to anyone wanting a proper B&B instead of an impersonal chain hotel.

Rick and Lorraine made us feel very welcome, and I’ll be back. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was lovely, and there was a TV in the room. Plenty of tea and coffee, a nice breakfast in the morning, and good parking too. Thanks again.

The continental breakfast had everything we wanted: fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, orange juice, tea and coffee, toast, croissants, and several spreads. During our five nights at Grayling House, our room was attended to each day, with the bed made, water and toiletries topped up, tea and coffee replenished, and bins changed. Rick and Lorraine were welcoming and made the lovely, homely B&B feel like home. We loved our stay and plan to come again. Thanks to them both for being such wonderful hosts and adding so much to our holiday.

Rick greeted us at the door, and it was lovely chatting with him about the area. The room and facilities were great, and the bed was comfortable. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
