Days Inn Southampton Rownhams

A quiet, very clean hotel with free parking and a good price for the quality. There's no limited check-in, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. I never pay more than £50 per room, and I reckon this hotel deserves four stars. Enjoy one of the good holiday deals.

I was asked for my credit card on arrival in case I damaged the room. Why wasn't that included in the booking conditions? Being treated like a vandal doesn't exactly make you feel welcome. I paid in advance, and now I've had to inspect everything and take photos so I can show any damage was already there. I've even taken another picture to document how I leave the room in the morning. There are several problems: stained chairs, chipped edges, a leaking bath tap, and a smell of sweaty feet. All the information should be on the booking so customers can decide for themselves.

A perfectly decent, inexpensive hotel with all the amenities you need. I stayed on my way to the New Forest, and the staff were friendly and happy for me to bring my bike into the room instead of leaving it exposed outside on my car. I'd definitely stay again on my next visit to the New Forest.

It was fine for what it was, though there were no phone charging points. The toilet roll holder being on the back of the door was new to me. There’s also a big hole behind the toilet, but you only notice it when you’re sitting in the bath.
