Southampton Serviced Apartment

The rooms were confusingly numbered: rooms 1 and 10 are on the ground floor, while room 4 is upstairs. In room 1, the freezer didn’t work. In room 4, the freezer was so iced up the door was basically blocked, and the toilet door wouldn’t lock. The lights flickered, and room 4 smelled of cigarettes. One of the rooms stank like a dead rat. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The apartment was spacious enough for two adults and two children, with a lovely balcony and a corner bath. There was plenty of parking, and the lobby was useful for waiting for the car on rainy days. It’s also well placed for the M3, M27 and city centre. James the Property Manager was extremely helpful throughout. We’d stay again.

Getting to Southampton and the surrounding areas was easy without having to drive into the town centre. The apartments are comfortable, with a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and parking was easy to find. The front apartments do get some road noise, though there’s a nice balcony to sit on when it’s warm. I’d rate it 8/10 overall.

The two bedroom apartment was spacious, quiet and reasonably priced for our five nights with the family, with two full bathrooms. But the towels and curtains were old and worn. The bath and kitchen sinks were clogged much of the time, which was really annoying and needs more attention.
