voco Southampton by IHG

We had a lovely Valentine's stay. The hotel is brand new, modern, and very clean, with excellent service. It's a short walk to the town centre, and the location is central for everything. I asked for rose petals on the bed, and they did exactly that. Our room was spotless, the bed felt like sleeping on a huge cloud, and it was completely quiet at night. We didn't have dinner at Atlantic Gate, the hotel's restaurant and bar, but the buffet breakfast was beautiful. There was a wide spread, including smoothies, yogurt, cereal, croissants, bread, cooked breakfast with potatoes and green beans, and eggs boiled, poached, and more. I'd highly recommend the Voco hotel and would definitely come back. Thank you 😊

I was at voco for a business meeting and had a really good time. The room was clean and comfortable, and worked well for a meeting. The staff were friendly and everything was well organised. Food was fresh, looked good, and tasted great, and the coffee was spot on. I'd definitely come back.

The bed was roomy and really comfortable, and the room was clean with everything working properly. We could choose between a bath shower and a walk-in shower, and I was glad not to have to climb into a bath. Temperature was managed with a wall heater and a small window opening mechanism. The tea and coffee station had everything we needed, including coffee bags and milk sachets. We arrived a little early, but the woman at reception had no problem with it. The room was ready, and we got a sea view upgrade, which was a nice touch. We didn't eat at the hotel, though we stopped for a nightcap at the well-stocked bar. It was a bit pricey, but about what you'd expect at most hotel bars. A very nice hotel for a night away. The modern feel, easy check-in and check-out, and comfortable room all added to a pleasant stay.

Carly at reception was fantastic, gave us a very warm welcome, and shared helpful local advice that made for a great day out in Southampton. Breakfast had a wide choice of food and drinks, and the Virgin Bloody Marys were a lovely touch. Simmi was the highlight for service, nothing was too much trouble, and she brought a smile and top-notch banter to everything. A fantastic stay at the Voco. Highly recommended!
