The Stamford

After the wedding, we returned to find our bedroom decorated with a balloon and a bottle of champagne. It was a lovely surprise at the end of a perfect day. My family stayed in the other part of the apartment, and housekeeping refreshed the room my husband had used the night before. We chose The Stamford Southport as our hotel base for our wedding in April 2024, and also got ready there. I, the bride, had my makeup done in the first room of the apartment, while my now husband and his groomsmen got ready in the other part. Thank you for everything you did to make our wedding special.

We had a great two-night stay with no issues at all. The room was modern and clean, with a huge comfortable bed, lots of storage and seating, and high-quality fluffy towels and bed linen. The pillows were fab. There was bottled water, good coffee, and handmade chocolates in the room, all lovely little touches. Check-in and access were easy, parking was free, and we got drinks vouchers for a local restaurant and recommendations for places to go when we checked in.

The beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was tastefully decorated throughout and well equipped. There were thoughtful extras too, including chocolates on the beds, water and milk in the fridge, and sachets of sugar and coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stamford, would definitely recommend The Stanford, and look forward to staying there again.

The living space and kitchen made it feel like a home away from home, even though we were only there for a couple of nights. The bed and pillows were amazing, and I had the best night’s sleep in ages. The whole setup is great, and checking in and out was the easiest I’ve experienced at a hotel. I’ll definitely come again and recommend it!!!
