The receptionist said the emailed price for our couple of weeks’ stay had been a mistake, then asked us to pay extra. We had to pay in cash, with no cards accepted, and had to hand over the money before we could even go into the hotel. The dark hall has push lights that only stay on for a few seconds. Rooms are very bare, with no proper wardrobes, and the showers didn’t work. One staff member in particular was very uncaring. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid it.

We’ve stayed at the ocean apartments for the last six years and loved every visit. It’s very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They always give us a warm welcome and have done everything they could for us. We’ll keep coming back, and I’d advise anyone to stay there because they’ll be welcomed and well looked after.

We had a great night with good friends at the Valentines Saturday night function. The room was brilliant, the food was good, and the entertainment was fabulous. The polite, friendly staff looked after us well.

A pleasant stay for good value, just right before an early ferry.

It was clean, quiet, and cheap. The single room was a bit small, though, and would be great if it were bigger.
