We could head straight out for walks from the hotel, with Sowerby Bridge below us and lovely valley views from the window. The room was clean, comfortable and well presented, and dogs are welcome. Booking and everything else was handled online.

The setting and views were lovely, and everything was excellent. It’s a beautiful place with great facilities, well suited to a big group. The hot tub and bar were especially nice.

The rooms were amazing, especially the suite, and the view was fantastic. Our church youth group rented a large area for a three-day outing, and it was well worth it. We had plenty of space for our big group, including a mini cinema, pool table, bar, and a large room for games and activities. I’d definitely recommend it.

The Dales views from the little outdoor picnic area were stunning, and there’s a good-sized car park. This former hotel now runs as a self-service, online facility, which worked well for visiting the area. It was great value, with a spotless room, comfortable furnishings, and a spacious, modern bathroom with lovely little touches. A little gem.

The countryside views make the trip worthwhile, especially under the stars on a clear night. It’s a beautiful, relaxing spot, though it sits high up and the roads are narrow and steep. My old car struggled on the hills, which may not bother most people. The rooms are a lovely standard, and the staff are welcoming, responsive, and always ready to help.
