The Elm Tree

The day itself was completely stress free. Niki, Jay & Chris made everything easy, after giving us such thoughtful help with the planning. From our first enquiry they made us feel like we were their only couple, and their organisation was second to none. The Elm Tree, Hundleby is a beautiful venue in a gorgeous setting. We chose afternoon tea and our guests loved it. There are packages for different budgets and no pushy selling. We can’t thank Niki, Jay & Chris enough for making our day so special, and would really recommend considering the venue.

We had a relaxed breakfast with our guests the morning after, exactly what we all needed. The Elm Tree, Hundleby was just right for our autumn micro wedding, and the team made the whole thing feel easy from booking through to the day itself. They also pointed us towards some lovely local suppliers. The place looks picture perfect in photos. It was simply unbe-leaf-able! 🍂

The food was amazing, and the team worked their butts off all day while keeping big smiles on their faces. They handled allergies and different diets safely and effectively. The outdoor space was immaculate, though I only wish the weather had been better so we could enjoy it more. The gazebo is a beautiful ceremony spot, with a secret garden walk, grounds for games, and fairy lights that add to the magic after dark. Our April wedding at The Elm Tree was lovely. Jonathan & Nikki were friendly and knowledgeable, and really tried to make our dream come true. They dealt very professionally with calls and messages from people who had questions, and supported us throughout the day. The rooms were gorgeous, each with its own en suite, and the beds were comfortable and clean. Snacks, tea, and coffee were available for guests staying over. I was disappointed that all the rooms weren’t included in the weekend package price or offered at a discount. Since the bridal suite was booked, it seemed unlikely the other rooms could be rented separately anyway. Getting in touch was sometimes difficult. I’m not pushy, so I occasionally worried I’d forgotten something or hadn’t covered everything. Even so, I can’t thank the team enough, and I wish we could do it all again.

The food was a big part of what made our July wedding so good. We loved the full English breakfasts on both mornings, the afternoon tea for the wedding breakfast, and the BBQ in the evening. Guests also had a great time with the garden games. From our first viewing to the wedding itself, everyone at The Elm Tree was brilliant. Their knowledge and attention made planning feel easy, and the day ran seamlessly without a single issue. I had complete peace of mind knowing everything was under control. Thanks for giving us such a special day and the best day of our lives. We’re so grateful! 🤍🤍
