The staff are always friendly, the garden is a great size for kids, and there’s plenty of parking. I also like the selection of beers on tap. It covers the main brands and is still a good range, though a few craft beers would be welcome. It’s a local pub for me that could be very, very good with a good chef. At the moment, food comes from the various vans they let on site, usually at weekends and with one van at a time. I’ve been told you can order a takeaway if there’s no van, but it’s best to check first rather than assume.

The staff were lovely and served us very quickly, and there was a good choice of ciders 🙂. The pub was bigger than we expected, with a conservatory extension and a beer garden. We’ve just moved into the area, and some customers seemed to stare at us like we were “strangers.” We ended up choosing a quieter spot instead of sitting in the main part of the building. I’m sure people are lovely, but we felt a little uncomfortable during our visit.

The staff were very helpful, though disabled access is poor. It’s a nice pub with five rooms to stay in. The website is out of date and still describes a restaurant that no longer exists.

It was quiet and serene, and the little park view from the window was good for the soul 🤓. The room was clean, well kept, warm and comfortable, with extra towels, shampoo and toiletries. The bed was a little squeaky, but overall it was money well spent for a lovely night’s stay.

The food was amazing, and you’ve got some talented chefs. I especially recommend the roasts, really great food. We could only sit outside, though, so our meal went cold quickly. They don’t have blankets available, so bear that in mind if you’ve booked an outdoor table and the weather’s chilly.
