Scott and his team were friendly, helpful and quick to respond, and breakfast was a perfect start to the day. The rooms were clean, warm, and had everything we needed. Lorimer House was ideal for our St. Andrews visit, and you can’t beat the location. I’d absolutely stay there again on our next trip to Scotland.

We had a great time at this beautiful bed and breakfast in St. Andrews, Scotland. The host gave great service, and the rooms were great too. It’s less than two blocks from the Old Course and close to local restaurants and other services.

Scott was a great host, and Lorimer House felt authentic and was just right for us. We stayed there as a family in October 2024, on our first trip to Scotland, so everything was new. What a wonderful experience. The B&B is about 100 yards from the 18th green on the Old Course. If you’re thinking about staying at Lorimer House, do it. You won’t regret it.

Scott’s suggestions for evening dining were spot on, and he knows the area and courses really well. Breakfast was just right, whether you want a hearty traditional Scottish breakfast or, like me, eggs and smoked salmon. He’s also a nice person to talk with before heading out on your daily adventures. Scott made our golf trip truly memorable.

I stayed at Lorimer House with three other golfers during our Scotland golf holiday. The central location, updated and clean rooms, excellent breakfasts, and friendly, helpful hosts all made for a great experience. Thanks to Scott and Kaitlin for such a pleasant stay!
