Breakfast was a definite highlight of our stay at Pinewood country house. Karen was an extremely generous and helpful host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had two separate rooms, both beautiful, spacious and very comfortable for us. We’d highly recommend the place to anyone visiting St Andrews.

I was there quite a long time ago, in autumn 2016, when we installed a bioenergy plant in Guardbridge to provide St. Andrews University with heatwater. Pinewood Country House was the best place to stay near St. Michaels. It was the best project of my time at Jernforsen. I’m retired now, but I’d like to return to your fantastic place and see more of the landscape. Maybe it can happen this year, 2026, I hope so. Best wishes to everyone at Pinewood Country house.

My mum and I stayed at Pinewood Country House while walking the Fife Coastal Path. The owners kindly gave us a lift back to the path, saving us a few extra miles. That wasn’t part of the service, and we appreciated it hugely. I’d recommend this place to people walking the Fife path or looking for a cosy, comfortable stay.

We were a group of seven male golfers, and Karen and Tom made us feel right at home. They cooked amazing breakfasts, and we enjoyed complimentary scotch. The place is a little outside of st andrews, but cabs were cheap, so it was well worth it. Thank you, Tom and Karen, for a wonderful stay.

It’s a very nice, spacious house with six ensuite rooms, a large dining room and living room, plus a smaller kitchen and a large kitchen. There’s a back garden with a hot tub and plenty of outdoor seating too.
