Bacchus - Rooms with a View

It was easy to park for free, and having access to a kitchen helped keep costs down. There's also a washing machine if you need one. The hosts were genuinely warm and friendly, and did their best to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The bay views are stunning too. I'd have no hesitation recommending this as a great place to stay.

The hill up to the property is very steep. As someone who isn't very mobile, I found it easier to drive into Mevagissey and park in one of the car parks. The room itself was nice, with a good bed and shower, and it was good value. The view matches the photo, but the website and pictures need updating because they give a misleading impression. WiFi didn't reach the room at all, so it needs a range extender. A mini fridge would also have been very useful for my medication.

Bacchus is a quiet, affordable place to stay, whether you're exploring the area or working away from home. The guest kitchen has facilities for some self-catering, and the rooms are modest in size. The historic bay views are lovely. The place is thoughtfully furnished, and the hosts are friendly and flexible. I'd be glad to return.

The room was large and very nice, and guests can use the kitchen. It's about a six-minute walk down a small hill to the harbour and village. I'd recommend staying here.
