Eden's Rest

The garden and bungalow were beautiful, peaceful and full of personal touches. We really appreciate nature, so we loved it. Luna the cavalier is adorable, still a one-year-old pup! We stayed in the rose room, a large, well-equipped room with fresh towels and the softest towel robes. There was tea and coffee, a little chocolate in the drawer, plus guides and Eden's rest information about nearby restaurants. Ian made us feel so welcome. He gives advice and will cook breakfast each morning if you ask. He also caters for Coeliacs, with gluten-free bread and cereal. The bread has its own toaster, so there's no cross-contamination. The bathroom is along the hallway, with two showers and a bath, and they provide shower gel, shampoo and body lotion. Guests can relax in the living room and watch Sky TV, with Cornwall magazines on the coffee table. Every room was very clean. We had a fantastic five days away with my partner, and we're hoping to stay again. 😊

Freshly cooked breakfast each morning was delicious, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable. Our room was immaculate, well maintained and had everything we needed, with thoughtful extras like bottled water, biscuits, towels replenished, and local maps and guides. A wonderful stay at this comfortable, traditional B&B, and a great base for exploring central Cornwall. Highly recommended.

Ian looked after us so well and made a full English breakfast to order every day. We spent six nights in the clean, comfortable Orchid Room, with its California King bed and en-suite. We'd definitely come back.

Ian was such an easygoing host. When we arrived, he made us tea, brought out biscuits, and took time to chat and answer our questions. The delicious, generous breakfast was served in the conservatory. The Orchid Room had a huge bed, and tea, coffee and toiletries were provided. We spent two nights here during two hot days in June 2023. The B&B was immaculately clean, and there was free off-road parking. We also enjoyed the garden, with benches, sofas and chairs scattered around so we could pick sun or shade, and there was a living room for guests to use.
