Edens Horizon cottage annexe

We only stayed three nights, but came away feeling like we'd been gone for a week. Kate had everything well organised, from details about the house and local places to visit beforehand to the welcome pack waiting there. We spent a day at the Lost Gardens and did some coastal walks. We'd suggest arriving at the gardens before opening for a lovely breakfast. Kate's dinner recommendation in Polgooth was spot on too. We had a wonderfully restful long weekend at Edens Horizon with friends.

The kitchen had all the pots, pans and utensils we could need, and even a Nespresso machine, which my husband loved. After days out at nearby beaches with the kids, we spent cosy afternoons and evenings tucked up on the sofas. There's lots of information at the house about fun day trips, and Eden's Horizon is well placed for them. This was our second visit, and it felt lovely to come back to this home from home. We brought back happy memories from our family trip and made new ones with friends. It was a great place to celebrate New Year in style. Kate recommended a local company that set us up with a hot tub as an extra treat. Thanks, Kate, for a lovely stay. Highly recommend! “I liked the adventure garden with lots of hiding places” Estella, age 5 “I loved the really big comfy sofas, and going to the beach every day” Oliver, age 7

The owners clearly care for the house, and it's very well looked after. It's a lovely place for 12 people, furnished to a fault. The kids had a great time hunting for Easter eggs in the big garden. 🐇🐣

Eden Horizon gave us the restful place we were hoping for. We'd been looking forward to this break since my wife recently lost her father, and we needed somewhere to stay and unwind. Everything was beautiful, and we appreciated how much had been taken care of in advance. Thanks, Kate, especially for checking in to make sure we were all right. I strongly recommend Eden Horizon.
