After a 7.5-hour drive, it was lovely to arrive to a warm room, with the owners already having turned on the light and heating. They'd left bread, butter, milk, eggs and jam for us, which was a big help since nothing was open at 1:30 am. We slept wonderfully on what was probably the comfiest bed ever. The cottage guide was really useful, with the WiFi details and a list of supermarkets. The whole week was blissfully quiet, and it's a great getaway for couples wanting a break from the city. The beach is about 5 miles away, so you'll need a car. Hopefully we'll book again for next year.
