Our daughter cries when it's time to leave Poltarrow Farm, which probably says it all. We've been back so many times we've lost count. The cottages are clean and comfortable, and the whole site is kept in lovely order. There's plenty for the kids, from the soft play and sports hall to the heated pool, plus Farmer Kate's animal feeding and a walk through the beautiful countryside. We also love having enough firewood for a cosy fire in the cottage each night. It's well placed for nearby attractions and Cornish towns, too.

The grandchildren especially loved the heated pool and big sports and games room, and they also got to help Kate feed some of the animals in the morning. We spent a week here in February 2022 with our children and grandchildren, using three cottages. Each was furnished and decorated to a very high standard. The farm sits among acres of farmland and is a great base for exploring locally. The owners were warm and helpful, and we're already making plans to come back next year. Thanks to Judith, Kate and family for making it such a special family holiday.

Judith even left extra towels in our room for a day we went to the pool, and the room was tidied and cleaned each day. We were welcomed with tea, too. The B&B is lovely, clean, and set in beautiful surroundings. It's a family-run farm, and they were happy to help with anything. Those thoughtful little touches made the stay even nicer.

The family take the kids on a feeding walk to see the lambs, pigs, ducks, guinea pigs and fish, which was a lovely part of our stay. They were so accommodating and made us feel at home. There's plenty to do within a 40-minute drive if you plan ahead, including a visit to Padstow. There are takeaways and restaurants nearby, though check they're open. We'd definitely go back and would highly recommend it.

A really lovely break for three generations, from age two to nearly 70. The accommodation was excellent in a beautiful area, and there was something for everyone, including the pool, toddler playroom and games hall. We were also treated to a very good cream tea on arrival. Brilliant.
