The Corn Store is tucked away down a country lane and up a driveway, so it can be a little hard to find, but that makes it really peaceful. We had a great stay with family. It’s a barn the owners lovingly converted, and they live nearby in their own conversion. There’s a double room, a twin room, a large living room and a fully stocked kitchen. Outside, when the weather allows, there’s a huge terrace with a barbecue and an enormous lawn for kids to play on. Everything is on one level, which is ideal if you have access needs.

A lovely, clean and well-equipped holiday home, ideal for families of up to four. I travelled with my elderly parents, one of whom uses a wheeled walker, and the single-level layout and roomy access made it very suitable for reduced mobility. Lisa, the host, was lovely and checked in on us after the RAC came out for a flat tyre on our hire car. It’s close to Bodmin, St Austell, Charlestown, Mevagissy and the Atlantic coast. Thoroughly recommend.
