The harbour views are lovely, and we found plenty of tasty choices on the menu. Everything we ordered was spot on, and the drinks selection was good, with an in-house barista as well. They even offered free bags of used coffee grounds for the garden. It was warm and dog friendly when we visited on a cold November day, and the staff were friendly. They also accept Blue light/Defence Discount card. One thing to bear in mind: the entrance isn’t wheelchair friendly and the toilets are upstairs, which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

We stopped in mid-afternoon and found a good traditional menu, friendly staff and a great view over the harbour. The food was excellent quality and reasonably priced.

The place had a cozy but lively feel, and all the servers were really friendly. I had a gluten-free pizza here in August 2024 and checked with the server because it tasted so good. There was no extra charge for the gluten-free base, which felt like a treat given what places usually charge. They also offer gluten-free sandwich bread and plenty of other GF main course options. I’ll definitely visit again, and I’m only sorry our trip wasn’t longer so we could return sooner.

We walked in on New Year's day and were seated at a corner window overlooking the harbour by a gentleman. The fish pie from the specials board was a real treat, well seasoned and made with locally caught fish. I enjoyed it with spiced rum and ginger ale. The toilets are upstairs; I use a stick and managed the stairs carefully. I’d definitely return if I visit Mevagissey again.
