The Old Parsonage

I’m fussy about the things that matter to me, and The Old Parsonage got them right: a warm welcome, good bedding, fresh milk in the room, a homely feel, big fluffy towels and a fabulous breakfast. I slept better during my three nights there than I have in a long time. I also liked seeing local suppliers used for the food and toiletries. Izzy and Tim were wonderful hosts, with amazing attention to detail. This may be the best B&B I’ve stayed in.

We were in Mevagissey for my friend’s birthday, and the muffin with a candle at breakfast and the Happy Birthday cushion in our room were such thoughtful touches. The Old Parsonage is a wonderfully welcoming and unusual B&B, and Izzy and Tim were happy to suggest places to visit and eat. Breakfast was amazing, and our room was comfortable, beautifully decorated and had a great shower. The centre is a short walk away. It was my first stay, but I hope to be back soon.

Izzi was a warm, lovely host, full of local knowledge and useful suggestions. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The B&B is close to Mevagissey harbour, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within a reasonable walk. I’d highly recommend staying here.

For our little Cornwall honeymoon, The Old Parsonage B&B was a perfect first stop. Izzi went out of her way to welcome us and help plan the next couple of days. Her breakfasts were delicious, especially the Polish scrambled eggs. The house is stunning, the bedrooms beautifully decorated, and the bed was so comfortable I hardly wanted to get up. I’d absolutely recommend it and will be back as soon as I can.
