Wheel Water Apartment Collections

The apartment was modern and spacious, with a bit of quirky character, and came at a great price. I slept peacefully: although I was initially worried about noise from the nearby road, it was very quiet. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the owner was quick to answer questions. We were heading to the Eden Project, so the location suited us well. There's also a large Tesco Superstore with a petrol station nearby. A pizza van stops outside once a week, I think, and the fresh pizzas were delicious. We didn't get to explore Charlestown or the other beaches this time, but I'd certainly return to Water Wheel Apartments to do that.

Porthpean beach is just a mile away, and you can reach the beaches around Padstow within 30 minutes, with plenty of other options along both coasts in between. There are lovely walks nearby and good places to eat, so you could happily spend a weekend in the village without going elsewhere. The balconies would be a lovely spot to relax with a book on a longer stay. Inside, the apartment is spacious, with a full kitchen, two well-equipped bathrooms and fabulous showers. The beds were luxurious and very comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. It felt like a comfortable home away from home in a picturesque part of Cornwall. Sally was a thoughtful, helpful host. We loved our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended.

A beautiful place for a short holiday. You can see the sea over the rooftops, and the harbour is a five-minute walk away. There are two good-sized bedrooms, plus a kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. The large lounge has a TV, and there's a bathroom with a shower.

Charlestown is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time there. The place we stayed was convenient, clean and very comfortable, and the owners were friendly and helpful. A really great stay.
