For £44 for the two of us, it did the job when the storm left us without accommodation, so thanks for that. The bed was lovely, the shower was hot with nice gel, though the water flow was a bit slow. We slept okay. The remote only worked now and then, and the corridor smelled. A few people hanging around seemed a bit odd, and I wondered if they might be homeless. The fire alarm went off three times around 3am. We could have gone to the desk for more drink sachets.

We've stayed here two years in a row. Last year the room was lovely, clean, and worth the money. This time it was a huge letdown, and I wouldn't say it was worth 368 pounds. The room smelled of damp as soon as we opened the door, and there was mould in the corners and on the ceiling. The bathroom stank of mould and damp too, with sand in the corners and shower. You could see where mould had been painted over. The cabinets and bath panel were peeling and chipped, the toilet needed several flushes, and water pressure was rubbish, especially when others were using water. The bathroom fan didn't work, and its button had been taped over. Even the bed felt damp, and the smell filled the whole room. Ignore room 16 for sure. It needs a revamp, and they should work on the things that need fixing.

There was excessive mould on the walls, and getting the refund processed online was a chore. I was told a free breakfast or late checkout on a future stay would be adequate. I said I'm not coming back!

The hotel is okay, but it feels quite tired. Be aware there are no USB charging points, unlike at other hotels.
