We were here for Valentine's weekend out of season and stayed just one night. Service wasn't applicable. The room was clean and cosy, with a lovely view over the harbour. The location was really convenient for places to eat and things to do, and there's 24-hour public parking a short walk away near the lighthouse.

You'd be missing a treat if you visited mevagissey harbour and didn't stop here. It's right on the beautiful, picturesque harbour, the staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to help, and the food is mouthwatering, delicious and beautifully prepared. I can see why the bad reviews don't match this lovely place.

The food is lovely and reasonably priced, with fresh, local menus and cakes made by 'granny'. It's a real family affair, with a friendly, courteous owner and family. The place has wonderful decor and a great atmosphere, plus an outside area and rooms to let. All right on the harbourside at Mevagissey. If you're in Mevagissey, go here! We'll definitely be back.

We came across this place by chance while walking around Mevagissey harbour and stopped for lunch. It was absolutely gorgeous. We had the wheelhouse stack, with a burger and Hoffman chips, and the owner was lovely and friendly. She even helped my husband when he dropped his ring down the sink plughole. Excellent place, we'll definitely return.

Compared with last year, the food was terrible. The mackerel wrap was mostly horseradish, and one wrap had so many bones that we couldn't finish it. The menu is very small now, there's no table service, and the restaurant wasn't as clean or organised as it used to be. Last year I would have given it 4/5, so something seems to have gone wrong over the past year.
