It was our family's first time here, and we were blown away by the food quality and portion sizes. The Sunday lunches were beautiful, the prices amazing, and the whole place had a lovely community feel. Thanks for a great visit. We'll definitely be back soon.

The beef Sunday roast was so good, the best I've had in a long time. Great portion, lovely presentation, and excellent service. I'd highly recommend The Queens.

A tidy room for a budget stay, in a lovely, quiet town. The cliff view is incredible, and there's plenty of seaside, hills, and farms around for hiking. The pub has a pool table and restaurant. Handy for backpackers travelling by train or car, with a free station car park just a two-minute walk away.

The fish and chips were good, and there were plenty of chips. The wait wasn't long, and the servers were pleasant. I ate in the dining area, though it didn't feel quite as comfortable or atmospheric as the adjoining pub. Maybe I should have asked to move, or perhaps that's where you're seated when you reserve.

For £60 a night, it was really reasonable, and the station has free parking since there's no parking at the hotel. The location was exactly what we wanted, and it meant we could spend more on food. My husband and I stayed for a weekday away. The rooms were clean, spacious, and really nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, hot, and freshly cooked. It's a lovely pub, hotel, and restaurant, though if you're after something more, this place may not suit you. I'm giving it 5/5 because it was just right for us.
