Northumberland and the Borders made a great base for our motorcycling trip, and Graham even took us out to Amble, where we found the Fish Shack. We spent five nights here in June with my friend Ian, and Graham and Debbie made us feel so well looked after. Breakfasts were generous enough to add a few pounds, and they surprised us with coffee and cakes too. Nothing was a bother, and they always made sure we were comfortable. We’ll definitely be back in 2026.

We had a very pleasant night at the Bellingham before our half marathon. The room was cosy and had an en suite, and our host was lovely. There was plenty of tea and biscuits, and we were offered a full cooked breakfast. We had to pass because of the long run, but maybe we’ll try it next time we’re up north. Five stars, and thanks for a great stay at your B&B.

Bellingham is worth spending a few days exploring, and this is a lovely, welcoming place to stay while you do. The orangery is gorgeous, and the whole space feels like a friendly country home. I’m already wondering if I could recreate that orangery at home, though I doubt it! The hosts are warm and charming, but never crowd you. They seem to know what you need before you ask. Breakfast was consistently top-notch, with enough variety to suit different tastes. No wonder so many people love this place.

Graham and Debbie were friendly and thoughtful, and their service felt personal without ever getting in the way. I really enjoyed my stay. The accommodation was beautiful, and everything was done so well.

The breakfast was so good that during my five days here I never felt like I needed an evening meal. Graham and Debbie also kept my room stocked each day with tea, Earl Grey, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits, and there’s a TV if you want one. After a great day riding, I’d come back to find tea and cakes waiting. The accommodation is top notch, with your own space, and the hosts leave you to enjoy it while staying close by if you need anything. Nothing was too much trouble, and I’d happily stay again. When I booked and mentioned my motorbike, they offered me a place in their garage straight away. I’ve just had five fantastic days here and can’t fault the B&B. Don’t waste your time with hotels, stay here instead. Thanks, Graham and Debbie.
