We held our wedding reception for 100 guests at Crug Glas in September 2025, and had a beautiful day at a stunning venue. From start to finish, everything felt seamless, and the service was impeccable. We loved having the whole venue to ourselves for the weekend. It was a real blank canvas, so we had a few days to prepare and make it feel like our own with the theme and decorations we chose. In the lead-up, communication was fantastic. Our questions were answered quickly, which put us at ease. Sandra, Bethan, Janet, Perkin and the whole team made us feel so special and were brilliant. Sandra became a friend from the first time we met. She was warm and relaxed, which made planning so easy. The team went the extra mile for us, saving canapés for when we returned from the church and setting aside evening food for after the party. Nothing felt like too much to ask. The food was one of the day’s highlights. They offer sample set menus, but we could choose our own dishes and create a bespoke menu. We went a bit off-piste with our choices, and the chefs and kitchen team did a splendid job making them work. The portions were just right, and everything was so delicious. There are lots of lovely spots for photos, whatever the weather. Crug Glas is in a quiet spot a short drive inland from the picturesque Pembrokeshire coast, and also close to St Davids. That worked well for guests staying elsewhere, with the Premier Inn only a 10-minute taxi ride away. The on-site rooms were stunning, cosy and comfortable, with lots of lovely individual details. Janet and the team have done a great job with them. Breakfast was divine, with full breakfast and continental options. We’ll certainly book a few nights there soon. We can’t thank Crug Glas enough for making our wedding day everything we hoped for and more.

The puddings were outstanding, and all the food was delicious. We spent four fabulous days holding a function at Crug Glas, and the whole team made it such a great experience. Sandra and Bethan gave everyone a lovely welcome each day, setting a warm tone for the event. They were helpful and accommodating throughout. You’re all amazing. Thank you so much!

The food was a real highlight, with lots of local produce and options for everyone. My choir and I came to the Cowshed for a two-day workshop and gala dinner, and Sandra and her friendly, professional team made us feel so welcome. I’d highly recommend the venue for workshops, concerts, or special dinners and celebrations. Thank you so much!

We had about 120 guests, and there was plenty of room for everyone, the decorations, and later a Scottish ceilidh with a three-piece band. The team removed three tables so easily that the evening space was ready in no time. We were lucky to have the ceremony outside under the trees, and my bridesmaids’ photos among the wildflowers were lovely. The grounds are wonderful. The food was fantastic, and several guests commented on both its quality and how much there was. Sandra even brought us food throughout the day, which we really appreciated since the bride and groom can forget to eat. From the owner to the chef, everyone we met was warm and hospitable. We’re so glad we chose Crug Glas. The staff, especially Sandra, were friendly and accommodating from the start. No question was too small, and they let us visit to take measurements for decorations and were very helpful with vendor suggestions. Everything was perfect on the day. People still tell me they dream about that beef dinner. The food was incredible, and choosing exactly what we wanted was completely fuss-free. Hats off to Dom. Crug Glas gave us a day we’ll cherish forever. The venue is full of warmth and character, and made a beautiful setting for our wedding. Sandra was calm, thoughtful, organised, and so kind throughout. She went above and beyond at every turn, and we can’t imagine how we’d have managed without her. From beginning to end, the whole experience felt magical.
