OYO Ocean Haze Hotel

We had a great time at Ocean Haze, very close to St David's cathedral and a beautiful beach. The one-bedroom apartment was clean and had all the facilities we needed. Staff were attentive and helpful, and my four-year-old daughter was comfortable and had room to run around. The food at their Srilankan restaurant deserves a special mention. We ate all three meals there and really enjoyed the variety and excellent service. Thanks for looking after us. We’ll definitely visit again.

We came in October and are already planning a summer return. The setting is beautiful, and everything we needed was nearby. Service was super, and the restaurant had both an English breakfast and delicious, authentic Sri Lankan food.

We loved waking up to the sea view and sunrise from our room during our three-night stay last weekend. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The authentic food was delicious, and it almost didn't feel like we were holidaying in St David’s 😂 The whole atmosphere was wonderful, and I hope we can come back and enjoy the place again next summer.

The noise from the room above made for a terrible night's sleep in Room 2. I could hear footsteps, the bed moving, things being dropped, and so on. The room itself was clean, but the ceiling seemed paper thin. I’d suggest asking for a top floor room. We only stayed one night, thankfully. When we first arrived, nobody came to reception when we rang the bell, so we went to St.Davids, about 10 minutes away. After a few hours visiting the Cathedral and pubs, we came back and someone answered. St Davids was busy enough on a Tuesday, so I can imagine weekends being a nightmare for ordering food and drinks. A midweek visit may be better.
