35 Carrack Widden

We booked No13 Carrack Widden, managed by Cornish Riviera, and were very impressed. The apartment was comfortable and clean, had great views across the bay, and was equipped with everything we needed. There’s secure basement parking, which is rare in St Ives, and the place is a short walk from all amenities. Communication throughout the booking process was great. We also appreciated access to a very well-stocked spa, where the professional staff took care of our health needs.

We always enjoy staying at 48 carrack widden. It’s a great location, with an allocated parking space, and the views from every window are beautiful. The apartment is bright, light, and always so clean. It’s comfortable and has plenty of room for a couple.

There were a lot of issues, even though the place looks good and has lovely furniture. The fridge was practically useless: its door panels were missing, bottles wouldn’t stand upright, and there was a lot of leaking. The freezer compartment was tiny. The floor was filthy; after walking around without shoes, the soles of my feet turned black. The parking space was also extremely hard to get into.

I've stayed in a few of these flats over the years and they've all been great. There's parking for the car, and the view is pretty special. I’ve also noticed some updates: the stairs have been painted with a plastic-like coating that's easier to keep clean, the lower garage now has electronic gates, and the laundry room has been updated too.
