Boskerris Hotel

The seaside views are stunning, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some parts of the hotel could do with an update, and the restaurant wasn’t quite to our taste or expectations, though I can see others enjoying it more. We found better value in St Ives. WiFi barely worked and mobile service in the area was poor, but that may matter less if you’re here for the quiet and relaxation.

We ended up at Boskerris Hotel after our original plans to stay at a Sykes Cottages property down the road fell through. Sykes hadn’t arranged check-in and we couldn’t get hold of them; a kind local put us in touch with Boskerris, and they were wonderfully accommodating. The team were warm and welcoming, while still very professional. The bay views from the hotel are stunning, and the decor is thoughtfully put together. Our seaside-chic room was comfortable, and we had a relaxing dinner at the in-house restaurant. But breakfast was the real standout: the Vegetarian breakfast and Eggs Royal were delicious, enjoyed with surreal views over a cozy morning. Boskerris Hotel felt like a pleasant, luxurious oasis. I can’t recommend them enough.

Boskerris has the most breathtaking views, superb food, and an extremely friendly team. They quickly sorted out our stay, outings, and schedule. I travel for work and still haven’t found a hotel as beautiful. I’ll definitely come back!

The terrace was a lovely spot for a drink and a look at the view, and the weather was fantastic during our August visit. The decor was beautiful, the bed comfortable, and breakfast was lush. Dinner hit the spot, too. Anne at reception was especially attentive and helpful, and the welcome was warm and friendly. The location is great, with lovely views and the St Ives to Penzance railway only a few minutes away. Thanks to the whole team for making our Carbis Bay visit so memorable.
