Downsfield Bed and Breakfast

The room was gorgeous, with two big windows that let in lots of light. The bed and bedding were comfortable, and the little touches were lovely, from the mugs to the super soft bathrobes. Nothing was too much trouble. The hosts, breakfast, and location were all just perfect. An absolute gem of a B&B if you’re staying in the area!

We stayed three nights and really enjoyed breakfast each morning. Our room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming, and we’d definitely recommend staying here.

The B&B and our room were spotless, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the friendly, welcoming hosts made us feel at home. It’s ideally placed for the beach, train station, and bus stop.

The area around Carbis Bay is stunning, and there’s a short walk down the bank to the train for St Ives. It was only £2 return. We loved this place and would come back after our fabulous four-night stay. Thank you, Sharon and Co. It was our first visit to Cornwall, and the room made a lovely first impression. It was beautiful and thoughtfully designed for its size, with a high spec throughout. The garden area and breakfast room were superb, the food excellent, and the staff lovely and friendly. We stayed in room 6, a private annexe with a small seating area. I think our room could have used a travel ironing board that hangs on the rail. A hanging basket or another splash of colour might also suit the space.
