The view of the harbour from the street is amazing, and it’s good exercise getting up the steep hill to the hotel. We had a wonderful couple of days here. Our small double room on the top floor, booked without a sea view at the cheapest rate, was bigger than I expected, with a comfortable bed, large windows that let in plenty of light and fresh air, and a nice, clean feel. The en suite was small, as expected for the room we paid for, so anyone wanting more space should book a bigger one. Shared kitchen facilities were great, and I had no trouble putting my things in the fridge. Just be aware that breakfast isn’t provided, and the food in the kitchen belongs to other guests. Free Wi-Fi was great too. My only complaint was that the hot tap at the sink didn’t work, and the shower was either too hot or too cold, which kept it from getting five stars. For the price, it was perfect for us. Definitely recommend.

The room and facilities were good for the price, and the shared kitchen was excellently equipped with a toaster and microwave, though we didn’t use it. The place is an easy walk from the town centre. We had a quick two-night getaway with no nasty surprises, except that the shortest walk back from town to the bedroom was a bit of a stairway to heaven.

Check-in was easy, the room was good and the location was great. The shower, though, was probably the worst I’ve ever had. Really poor.

There’s a good-sized communal kitchen downstairs, and a public car park down the road came in handy. We visited in December and stayed in a reasonably sized room with a double and a single bed. It also had a TV and kettle. The apartment sits quite high up, so the walk down to the shops via the stairs isn’t too bad, but going back up is a bit of a workout. The shower was so weak we had to keep filling water bottles and pouring the water over ourselves.

Check-in was smooth: we got a text with an entry code and let ourselves in. We had a sea view room in this lovely little guest house, with beautiful harbour views. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the pillows weren’t very firm, though that may just be personal preference. Still, I’d definitely recommend it overall 🙂
