Pedn Olva

What stood out at Pedn Olva was how comfortable everyone felt. Our toddler was happily entertained, our dog was welcome, and my parents had a great time too. The waiter was genuinely friendly and attentive, helpful without hovering, and made the visit even better. We came with my parents, toddler and dog, which isn’t always the easiest mix for a relaxed meal out, but we had such a lovely time. The food was really good, the atmosphere welcoming, and the views hard to beat. It’s rare to find somewhere that works so well for three generations and a four-legged family member. We left full and happy, already planning our next visit to St Ives.

Milena really made our birthday dinner special. She was warm, attentive and went above and beyond. The food was excellent, and the lookout was a perfect place for dinner, with spectacular panoramic views of St Ives. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely too. From the moment we arrived at the Pedn Olva last night, the manager and bar staff greeted us warmly and set a great tone for the evening. The whole team made it a beautiful celebration. I’d highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back!

We finally decided to try this place today after walking past it many times on our way into St Ives, and we weren’t disappointed. The restaurant staff were really friendly, the view was beautiful, and the food was really nice. Our server, Crystal, was especially friendly and easy to talk to, with such a positive attitude, exactly the kind of person restaurants need. The bathrooms were really clean too. I recommend it.

The terrace views and the service were both fantastic. They handled our family’s coeliac needs so thoughtfully and were happy to answer every question. We really enjoyed the food and thought it was fairly priced, though the espresso martini was a letdown. Lovely restaurant and pub, highly recommend.
