Rivendell Guest House

The breakfast was delicious and had healthy options, and the beds were really comfortable. I also liked the charming decor and the quiet carpeted floors and stairs. Though my room was at the back, I could still see a little of the sea in the distance. The location is superb, close to the town’s bustle but in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood. I hope I can come back. I felt at home from the moment Tracy warmly welcomed me, soaked through and hauling my luggage after taking the wrong way up the hill in heavy rain. She kindly offered to prepare my room next so I could return in an hour and check in early.

The Rivendell is ideally placed within walking distance of the harbour, shops, bars, and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable, with great views, and the owners were friendly. We had a fantastic breakfast every morning and really enjoyed our stay.

Waking up to the incredible view of St Ives harbour from my room was amazing, and breakfast was delicious. Tracy was welcoming and gave me all the local information I needed. She even printed my best man speech when I couldn’t get it done myself, though that isn’t part of the usual service. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was fantastic, and I had a good welcome. I was in room 3, which was a little compact but worked fine for me, with good views of the town and Godrevy. There was a good shower and a separate bathroom. A really good B&B.
