Room Five on the top floor was spacious and delightful, with such soft towels in the bathroom. It was spotless too. We stayed on a bleak November night, so it got a tiny bit cold, but it’s an old building and that’s part of its charm. There are warm radiators and bed throws, though, so pack warm pyjamas in winter. Alison was a perfect host, communicating brilliantly and giving us a guide to the area on arrival. There’s free parking and it’s a short walk to the main shops. Everything was wonderful, especially the tasty included full English breakfast, and we’ll definitely stay again. Thank you, Alison x

Room One has so much charm, and Alison was incredibly hospitable. The service was excellent and worth every penny, and breakfast was delightful. Hastings is easy to get to from here, with plenty of parking nearby. I can’t recommend it enough.

Alison made us feel welcome and at ease, like part of the family. She was kind, friendly and helpful, and handled our requests about breakfast timings and specifics. The breakfast itself was excellent. My mum, sister and I all agreed we’d come back and would recommend it to anyone after a lovely stay in St Leonard’s or Hastings. The B&B is beautifully run, with immaculately decorated rooms that are a good size and very comfortable. It’s just around the corner from West St Leonards train station, across the road from the beach, and within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and bars in St Leonard’s.
