I had a brilliant long weekend in Guernsey at La Michele. Celeste was friendly, helpful and very accommodating, and went above and beyond for me. My room was comfortable and clean, with air conditioning too. I’d love to come back sometime.

We were in town to perform at an event at The Fermain Tavern, just a five-minute walk away, and the quiet lanes around Hotel La Michele were lovely for walking, with hardly any traffic. Five of us from Take This stayed for the weekend of April 24-26. The hotel and gardens had plenty of charm, the rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was a top-notch full English. I’d recommend it to anyone walking in the area who wants to stay a little outside St Peter Port. Loved it!

The hotel has a lovely garden and a peaceful rural setting, and it’s run by a real family. The service during my recent stay was wonderful. You can walk to a pub, shop and live music venue, The Fermain Tavern.

The rooms, bed and breakfast were all fantastic, with a great hot shower and bath. Celeste was amazing when I arrived two hours after check-in, an issue entirely my own fault, and she stayed friendly and courteous throughout my stay. I’ll need to return to the island every 2-3 weeks, and I have no hesitation about booking here again and again.

I came back for another wonderful stay. It’s a clean hotel with comfortable rooms, and Celeste was once again the perfect host, friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast had an excellent selection and was nicely presented. The quiet location is handy for main routes and buses to island attractions, with Fermaine bay a short journey away. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a pleasant, memorable stay in Guernsey.
