The small touches were top quality, from the crockery and cutlery to the bed linen, and the breakfast was as good as at any big city five-star hotel. This is what I expect from a Hand Picked hotel. The staff were always smiling, very attentive and gave impeccable service. It also has the best Spa experience in Guernsey. I can’t recommend it enough.

Everything about our wedding here last month was perfect and went well beyond what we expected. Bronwyn and the team did so much for us, and nothing was too much trouble. I was treated like a VIP, and I’m forever grateful they made the day so special. I can’t put into words how thankful I am. I’d recommend Bronwyn and the team without hesitation.

My wife and I come in about three times a week for coffee, sometimes lunch at the terrace bar. Amy, Ben, Paul and Shaun know us and start making our coffees as soon as we walk in, then have a little chat. It makes you feel special. The waiting and reception staff are all attentive and lovely to talk to.

We had a wonderful week here with our 10-month-old. The staff went out of their way to make us welcome, entertain him and offer to make him whatever food he wanted, even a packed lunch. They were understanding and helpful one evening when he was very grumpy. The travel cot was nicely set up with its own sheet and an optional blanket. We asked for an extra towel for the baby and got it straight away. Having a fridge in the room was useful for his food. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with great amenities, but the staff really made the stay.

We only go to the golf club. The driving range is great, and the restaurant does brilliant meals throughout the day. The crazy golf is fun too. There’s always enough parking, though if you’re dropping off a wheelchair user at the door, the gravel won’t be much fun.
