The room was great and the service was good, so it made for a nice break. I did find it odd that the water bottles weren’t replaced each day. Bring your own toothpaste, since a dental kit costs £2. Otherwise, I had a good stay.

This hotel means a lot to us because we spent our honeymoon here. We came back three weeks ago for our Golden Wedding, and the lovely gifts waiting in our room were such a thoughtful surprise. The room was kept very clean, and everyone gave excellent service. Breakfast was plentiful, our anniversary dinner was delicious, and we really enjoyed unwinding in the spa and swimming pools.

I stayed here with my mother in November 2024 for a short break, and even though this review is late, I still remember how lovely it was. I was pregnant and felt very well cared for. The room was beautiful and spotless, the surroundings were relaxing, and all the staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, and the restaurant team were great, including Sarah, Monica and Francis. We also loved afternoon tea, with John and Ashu looking after us so well. Thank you to everyone at hotel de France. I’d recommend staying here.

It’s about a 10-minute walk into the centre of St. Helier, which suited me fine. The staff were all friendly and polite, and the room was tidy, clean and really comfortable. The bathroom looked a little dated, but everything was in pristine condition. I appreciated the toiletries, local tea and coffee, and the fan during the warm weather. The hotel and grounds are grand and well kept. I had a very nice two-night stay and would recommend it.

The rooms are large, the food and bar are great, and the spa is brilliant. The staff were wonderful too. It’s a really lovely hotel, and I can’t wait to come back in February.
