We didn’t have a car, and getting around the area was possible, though it took some planning. The owners had thought through lots of useful details, from local maps that were far better than the online ones to a thermos for carrying cold milk to the room for tea. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and the wild damson jelly and goose berry jam were highlights. Our room was clean and comfortable. My friend and I were hiking the coastal path and stayed at East Trewent Farm. Rebecca and Jeremy made us feel very welcome. They even picked us up at the last minute when we had trouble arranging a taxi from the train station. The location worked perfectly for our walks, and I hope to come back with my family.

Freshwater East beach nearby was really beautiful. At East Trewent, Rebecca and Jeremy were welcoming and full of local knowledge. Our room was clean, and breakfast was amazing, with local produce, homemade marmalade, cookies waiting for us on arrival, and lovely lemongrass shower gel. It was a great stay.

There’s a nice green space behind the self-catering place, with plenty of wildlife, and parking is easy in the front courtyard. The amenities were good too. It’s a lovely little spot just above Freshwater East, on a very quiet single-track road. You can walk down to the beach, and other nearby beaches are about a 10-minute drive away. We’d happily return in a heartbeat. The hosts were excellent and the service was just as good.

Rebecca and Jeremy made the place feel like home, even though we were there for just two nights. Their hospitality was genuine, and they took care over all the details. Thank you both for looking after us so well.

Six of us were walking the coastal path, and East Trewent Farm was just right as a place to stay. Jeremy and Rebecca went out of their way to make us comfortable, preparing a fabulous dinner as well as a great breakfast. The rooms were super, and we had a great stay. I’d highly recommend it.
