The Falcon Inn

We’re local and came to see how the food was under the new owners. It’s a big improvement on what was here before, and the portions were excellent. It is pricey, but the food was gorgeous. The wait staff weren’t always smiley, though the lads at the bar more than made up for it. We’d definitely come back.

We stumbled across this place by accident and are so glad we did. The rooms feel homely and are nicely decorated, with cleanliness that’s hard to beat. The bed was really comfortable, and the food was tasty with plenty of choice, including the specials board. Everyone on staff was very friendly. We’re thoroughly impressed and can’t wait to return. If you get the chance to stay or eat here, you won’t be disappointed.

After finishing a local 10K, we stopped in for dinner. The place was clean throughout, with lovely decor and a modern country feel. We both chose the pie, probably one of the best I’ve had. It arrived piping hot and freshly cooked. Thanks for a lovely time, we’ll definitely return when we’re in the area.

Everything was amazing, from the food and drinks to the atmosphere and service. We’ve never had a better Sunday dinner. Wish we lived closer, and we can’t wait to come back ❤️
