I spent three nights in a courtyard room while photographing Grey Seals on the coast, after enjoying several meals at The Harnser last year and promising myself I'd come back. The room was on the small side, but had everything I needed and more, even with my habit of spreading out. It was kept impeccably clean, with daily cleaning and fresh towels. The Landlady did a fantastic job with breakfast each morning. I ate in the dining area on both Saturday and Sunday nights: Saturday's dish came from the weekly specials board, and Sunday's freshly cooked, hearty Beef roast was a real treat. All the staff I met were pleasant and extremely helpful, a credit to the Landlady. I look forward to returning. Thanks to everyone for an enjoyable stay.

Jade made us feel at home at The Harnser, starting with such a warm, genuinely kind welcome. She checked that the room temperature suited us and suggested things to do nearby, which made our visit even better. We had a wonderful stay, and highly recommend it.

What a gem! Our courtyard room was small but well equipped, nicely appointed, spotless, and had comfortable beds. We met friends for dinner, and the tapas and traditional pub dish were all delicious, beautifully presented, and excellent. The young waitress gave very good service, and we agreed it was one of the best meals we'd had in a long time. Breakfast was just as good, with a choice like you'd expect at a top class hotel. Thanks to the team, they're getting it right.

We chose tapas small plates and a prawn cocktail, and everything was delicious. Afterward we finished our drinks in the lovely beer garden. The barmaid gave us a warm welcome, and the short walk from where we'd moored at Sutton Staithe was well worth it. We'd called The Harnser for a booking after learning the hotel couldn't take evening bookings because they were short a chef. For us, it's the best restaurant we've found on the Broads, and we'll definitely go again.

Just back from another lovely visit to The Harnser. The rooms are clean, comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and beautifully kept. Breakfast is always a highlight, with Chloe looking after us so well. We also had an excellent evening meal with family, and Mia's Tia Maria coffee was a perfect finish. Joss, the landlady, always makes us feel special with her warm hospitality. Already looking forward to coming back.
