The place completely exceeded what we expected for our Easter hen weekend. We booked the barns and dairy kitchen, and everything was spotless and decorated with real taste. The setting is stunning, too. Mike was so friendly and easygoing that it was easy to relax and enjoy ourselves. We also loved meeting his two gorgeous labs. Would absolutely recommend it for a special hen party or wedding.

The gardens and peaceful pond make the Glass House at Anran feel like such a lovely setting, and the natural light in the glass-walled barn should be fantastic for photos. I’ve heard such good things about the attentive team and how much care they put into creating bespoke weddings. I’m really looking forward to photographing weddings there in 2025 and 2026. We’ve supplied the venue a few times over the years and it always looks stunning. It’s in a lovely spot, peaceful unless a wedding is in full swing, and an Instagrammer’s dream. We recently installed a Photo Booth for a wedding. Both the booth and the venue looked beautiful. Having worked at hundreds of venues, I’d put this one in my top three or four for pure wow factor.

The outdoor ceremony area and glasshouse are fantastic, and there are so many lovely corners of the grounds for wedding photos and video. We had a great time filming a wedding here a few years ago. It’s unlike any other venue we’ve visited, and we’re looking forward to coming back. James and Kylie (Storybox Films & Photography).

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms balance rustic character with modern conveniences, and although it’s out in the country, Plymouth and its attractions are close by. There’s also an amazing wedding venue here and a pub just a short walk down the country road.
