Premier Inn Stevenage Central

The room was clean and comfortable, the food was class, and the whole stay felt easy and welcoming. Taylor behind the bar looked after me brilliantly, and Lea and Lisa deserve a shout-out too. The care from the team really makes a difference. I also thought the bar prices were very fair. I ordered a double JD with just a “splash” of Coke, and they didn’t charge for the splash, which plenty of places do these days. Service was spot on from beginning to end. Proper friendly, good value, and I’d happily stay again. Would 100% recommend.

I’ve stayed here a few times and had some lovely chats with other guests. It’s my usual choice in Stevenage, with fair prices and a handy spot near the retail park. Last time, though, the carpet had toenails on it and there was someone’s hair in the bedsheets. I was disgusted and figured the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. The staff were lovely, apologised for the mishap, and helped move my luggage to a clean room. It’s not fancy, but it’s more than adequate for a few nights.

The hotel is much like other Premier Inns we’ve visited, with a spacious, accessible room that was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It’s easy to get to from the A1, and there’s plenty of free parking. What makes this one stand out is the staff. Every one of them was lovely, always ready with a friendly word and willing to help. They seem to enjoy their jobs, and it comes through in the excellent service. A big thank you to all of you.

After a long day’s work and drive, arriving late, it was a real pleasure to be greeted by Taylor at the desk. She was great, but Lisa was the real star. She’s full of happy energy and a real credit to the hotel. I travel a lot for work and stay at plenty of Premier Inns, and Lisa is the best employee I’ve come across. Her bubbly manner and customer service are first class. Management, don’t lose this girl. Thanks, Lisa, for making my stay a pleasure.
